Reiki: a form of energy healing
"Reiki" (pronounced "RAY-kee") is a Japanese term. It's the fusion of two words. "Rei" means "universal." "Ki" (similar to the Chinese term "chi") means "life-force energy." Together, "Reiki" means universal life-force energy.
As humans, we sense an aliveness in ourselves and in each other. Reiki is that sense of aliveness. Reiki is the spirit of life that unites us all.
As a Reiki healer, I've mastered specific techniques for activating Reiki. Reiki is always within us. I activate the Reiki within you, so you can begin to heal and grow.
When we're constantly busy with activity, we don't heal. We do more damage, or we stay stuck as we are. Reiki allows you to slow down, rest, relax, and connect with spirit. In that state of spiritual connection, your body naturally heals itself.
Reiki can heal a variety of ailments. Reiki works on physical ailments like pain, inflammation, tightness, nausea, and other similar conditions.
Reiki also works on emotional ailments like anxiety, depression, grief, guilt, feeling "stuck," and other similar conditions.
Reiki is not a subsitute for traditional medical treatment. Reiki is a fabulous complement to traditional medical treatments, since Reiki can address issues on the spiritual level, which traditional treatments do not reach.
